I was dating a girl back in '92 (Right when having a naval ring was the "Risque" thing for girls to do in CA) and my ex girlfriend I was dating at the time told me *I* should get one. (Now this was 10 years before I wore a woman's panties and 15 years before sucking cock. i've pierced quite a few male navels - altho they're generally done on the bottom or on the sides.
the only ones i've done on the top were generally part of an industrial type piercing - where the bar goes all the way thro from top to bottom (thro two holes).
