How many feel saddened about Ediie Gurrero's untimely Death

Until now I never truly appreciated the artistry and complexities of professional wrestling.

WTF is a mat technician?

Eddie was one of those guys like Chris Beniot, Booker T, ..etc who were actually good mat technicians that had love for the buisness, but never got an actual break until turning 40yrs. He easily tops my list of best in-ring masters.

there's nothing big about him but his biceps.
Tang finally writes an articulate, well thought out post, and it's about pro-wrestling?

The selection process to be a WWF/WWE wrestler is really long and those selected is a really short list.
Those guys are naturally big, and they have to be able to project their persona without being shy in front of thousands of fans.
The steroids just plump them up and make them more aggressive, and the WWE MD's regulate their use professionally, because the wrestler is an investment to the organization.

I feel for the man and I feel for his family regardless of the profession.

RIP Eddie. :rose:

Dude, the cat gif is off the hook.

I don't watch wrestling so I have no comment. But steroids have lead to the deaths of more than a few so anyone should know better. Lyle Alzado just being one of the first. Shame.

I don't watch pro-wrasslin as i did when i was younger or back in the 90's monday night wars. if anybody can apperciate actual "ring talent" would be me, an amatuer/freestyle/greco wrestling, jui-jitsu, judo, mma(ultimate fighting to you gnubs) grappling enthusiast or anybody that understands the depth of ring technicians. regardless of what ppl think it takes talent/skill to pull off some of the shit Eddie does. He's what you call a classic "luchador", a mexican pro-wrasslin style of high flying aerial movement that can led to serious or not death if not done properly. a "mat technician" is just that, somebody that brings exciment with fluid skills and style only acquired by love for the buisness and natural human ability to be awesome. a "mat technician" entertians the crowd by in-ring proformance. Hulk Hogan was never a mat technician...he simply had charisma, and Eddie had both.

If anybody knows about grappling would apperciate the works of Shawn Micheals and former freestyle olympic gold metal champ Kurt Angle at wresltemania. ECW fans can be attest of ppl that understand and utterly apperciate what "mat technician" are, thats why they applaud any efforts by both challengers very extremely to say the least.
Sadly though, many medicore redneck fans have no idea of in-rings skills and rather cheer for a buncha lazy bulked-up goons that can't jump from the top ropes if their life depended on it. What you know about japanese strong style -to- lucha -to- extreme wrasslin?

It sucks, especially since he was in his prime. He's going to be missed :(
I agree in his last televised match on smackdown Friday nigh he was classic Eddie and looked like he'd be around for many more years to come

I just thaught it should not be forgotten that, anyone can suffer heart failure without abusing drugs.

If you even take a certain alergy inhailer in Proffesional football/soccer, you face a maximum of a 2 year ban, to the best of my knowladge, former Camaroon international and manchester city player 'Marc Vivien Foe' never took drugs, or he would have been banned from football and he died of a heart attack on the pitch.

I had congestive heart failure in 2001. the dr and cardiologist's diagnosis was a flu virus attacked my heart, I wasn't doing steroids or any drug at the time now I'm on prescription meds and aspirin to keep me alive
