Thats exactly what my wife and I do. We have a set of 3 plugs, start off with the thinest one, until I I say to try the next size and then next size.

You still want to start gentle, slow, easy and small, though. Jamming the biggest one right in there is not a good first experience.

You will get used to it. But I’d get yourself something smaller and work up to it. Lots and lots of lube. You don’t want to tear anything.

Start with small and thin, like a finger. Work up to a thumb.

This isn't normal at all, especially not incontinence. If one is incontinent, it isn't caused by anal penetration. It's possible that hemorrhoids could be, but you'd have to be stupidly unlubricated. Like, you'd know you were doing it wrong.
