I have submitted my very firs story 19 hours ago and it is still awaiting approval. Please forgive me if I sound impatient, but I am very excited about my first story.

2 to 3 days for established authors, a little longer for new authors. And if there is a contest going on add a day as the contests entries get priority.

If OP's ID is an indication of the category selected, I think it could be up to a week.

Always a day longer than you think is reasonable and add two days if it is your first story.

I remember, I remember, when over a week was the norm for established authors.
