How long for a story?

How long does it generally take for a submitted story to be accepted and up on the site?

On average, 3 days. But I have heard of some people waiting a week before their stories are accepted.

Will i get e-mail confirmation of some sort? or will I just have to go to view my submissions myself and see if its been accepted?

You are told only if your story isn't accepted for publication. Otherwise, you just need to keep an eye on your submissions page - or the "New" list. The stories usually go up around midnight, Pacific time, sometimes a little earlier.

I would give it 3 days and then start checking. Good luck!
