What is the average time it takes for a story to be approved after it's submitted?

The standard has been two days for some time, longer if you are a new author. There's only one submissions editor, so it can take up to five days under unusual circumstances.
I think it also depends on what type of category it falls under, usually my incest stories get published in 2 to 3 days. Now my illustrated stories took about a full month to get uploaded.
I submitted one yesterday morning and it just went up this afternoon, about 30 hours later.
Seriously??? It’s been over three days and it still not up.I’m so impatient!

New writers always take a couple of days longer - your content will be read a little more closely both for compliance and basic quality. Once you get more established, the clearance rate speeds up.
BTW, does anybody know whether including HTML coding makes a difference to posting time? (As opposed to submitting a formatted .doc and letting Laurel convert the formatting?)

I submitted mine on Thursday, and got the rejection (sob!) today, so two days for me
What was the reason for the rejection? Would you like to try and "fix" it?
