How long does it take before a Story is posted?

I sent my 3 stories in as a word Doc, and was wondering how long it takes before these are opened, and posted here.

Usually sometime between a couple days and a week, though it could be as long as two weeks if the number of submissions is been unusually high at the time. There are a few other threads on this subject that should turn up if you do a search.

When submitting as a MS Word document, add three to five days to the answers you'll see for c&p submissions because they require some manual conversion before adding them to the database.

If yousubmit in MS Word format because of italics or bold type needs, youmight be interested on reading Alex De Kok's How To essay on how to include italics and bold in a C&P or text format submission. I also have a How To essay posted which might be useful because it explains how to format italics and bold -- although that's not the primary point of my essay.

Currently routine C&P submissions are running 7-10 days for posting if they aren't contest entries or other time sensitive story -- like a chain story episode with a scheduled posting date.

I would also expect additional delays due to possible holiday insanity for Ms. Laurel
