How long does it normally take to get something removed?

Finnaly realizing the editing of some of my more 'in need ofr change' pieces is going to require a complete and total overhaul. I put in a req to get them removed using the submission area on my profile. The submit something saying to delete the orignal instead of edit.

Does that take the 10-12 days normal subs are seeming to take now or so they normally pick up on that stuff earlier?

Don't take it too hard. Use the Lit editing services? People can be brutal if its grammar perfect or not. You dont learn unless you write.

Heh Its all OLD stuff that was done and not umm ... lets just say it needs a major major overhaul.

It has major issues

The rest of my stuff is staying up and people that don't like that stuff, well they are free to leave PCs so I can giggle at them

And my luck with the lit editing services is abysmal so I avoid it like the plague

Sorry to jump in on your thread...

...but how does one go about getting something removed? I've submitted something and have since changed my mind about it (it's truly awful). It's still in the 'pending' stage, and I can't find anywhere to un-submit it.

Resubmit the same title, no text, with DELETE in capitals after the title.

Put 'Please delete' in the notes field.

I once asked to have several items removed via PM to Laurel. As it was a body of work she asked that I re-send my request for verification. It was done in a day.
