Although ususally I'm here, not "working" anyway.MidnightAngel said:I have an hour, but I normally don't use it. Don't eat lunch.
And I'm salaried, so I don't get paid extra for working thru lunch. Damn!![]()

I usually have an hour but by the time I drive clear across town its like 30 minutes... most of the time I eat something fast and quick at some fast food place.

Even when the emergency teams from Ireland came here mid -winter - short days - to repair the electricity after the big millenium hurricane. They had to sacrifice 90 minutes daylight for lunch.
The Irish lads, used to eating a sandwich up a pole were flabberghasted.
Then you might often need to add 60 mins nookie time.
But they only work a 35 hour week.
Oh, and there is no flexibility - must start to eat between 12 and 1:15 .

One advantage of being the sole owner of a company, and being a 25% owner in another is the ability to have no time constraints as to when, how much, or for how long. Lunch sometimes starts at 11:30 and finishes at 4:00 pm.
Other days maybe its a quick "30" in a restaurant. I hate Fast Food so that is never an option. In case of one of those "God I hate my client days---- give me 3 balance bars and some Green Tea and it will have to do.
