How long did you lurk?

before actually registering and becoming a member of Lit? For me it was about 2 days, and I couldn't keep quiet for long... I wanted what I said validated so I registered.

So, I'm just curious.... How long did you lurk?

I register as soon as I found it. I just don't have much USEFUL to contribute, which is why I have been three months and just hit 50 post yesterday, when other have been here for a month and are "GURUS". Just venting don't mind me.

I lurked for about 2 weeks. I enjoyed reading the threads from some of the more outspoken folks here, like Lasher and Deborah, and I soon realized that there was a pretty interesting mix of personalities here. I felt pretty sure that I wanted to join, but I was a little shy because I had never joined a site like this before. The Sexual Role Playing Board was an added incentive to join, because I love role playing. So I finally took the plunge, and here I am.

lurked for about 4 to 6 weeks before we joined. We also went back and read just about every freaking thread before we started posts just to see what went on here and got to know who was who, then posted a little here and there....Stuck our toe in ...so to speak....Thats my storie and I'll stick to it........

I came for the stories, and read them for six months or so. Looked in on the board, but it seemed like being looking into a privite party at the end of the hall that I didn't have an invition to. You know, "man that looks like fun, But Sam's not invited." I posted some stories, and recieved some feed back on the story feedback board. Laurl noticed that I wasn't registered, and sent me an email inviting me.

It still took me 3 weeks to actually post something, and now my wife is looking for a twelve step program for me.

I've been reading the stories since about October 1999 or so, and actually found and joined the BB back in like February or March under another name, but I got busy with school and never really got a chance to post. When I came back I forgot what name I registered under, so came up with a new one.

The rest is history

I too found the site while searching for erotic stories, read the stories for about 3 months before I even realized there was a BB.
