How long between submit and post?

I have a question. How long does it usually take between the time you submit a story and the time that it is posted.

my own experiance

for me it all depends i suppose on who is reading and doing the approving. Mine average 3-5 days tops.

Sometimes it is one and other times it is more then one.

the most i have had is three at a time approved.


this sounds vague i know but that is how it has been for me lately. I have had several emails telling me they are impatiently waiting for the next chapter

it can take up to ten days for a story to be approved. Right now we're in the middle of a Halloween contest, and contest entries take priority, so it may take even longer than usual.

One tip: once it's submitted, if you click on the link that says "pending" you, in effect, have edited your story, and it gets pushed to the end of the line, even if you haven't done anything to it at all.

Now i know why chapter 5 isnt up yet. i have edited so i have actually been glad on an occasion or two not to have had the other chapters entered. i have been putting the title to the next chapters and noting there is how many chapters and so on at the bottom. i didnt do this for the first couple of chapters. i have also done a little better {imho} in the editing and making it more reader friendly.
