How long before a new submission by a new author is reviewed for approval?

I submitted my first story a few days, with quite a bit of developmet (true good and bad endings). Two days later I created another story that I've but a lot of work in to, and I while I want to work on them so more, I'm worried they might get rejected. Both of the stores push the line concerning non-consensual sex.


Endings for the first story include...
-Good ending
-Bad things happen but turn out okay.
-Kidnapped and used as a sex slave, but accepts it.
-Kidnapped as a sex slave and hates it.
-Broken mind.
-Quadrapalegic sex slave after an accident (this probably goes too far.)

Endings for the second story include much of the above (but not the last) and an ending with off-screen deaths.

Both have had their status as 'Approval Pending' forever, yet 'New Stories' have been posted in the meantime. Is something wrong?

Okay, my mistake. There haven't been any new stores posted since the 7th, so I assume that the moderators have not looked at new stories. Still, does what I listed sound like it is too severe for the site.

LOL, it was posted a few days ago. It took a week, but I think the mods were just gone during that time. No big deal.

At our lowest point, we went, gosh, maybe a year with no story approvals.

A couple of days...sort of

Normally stories get approved in a couple of days. If there is one that I cannot decide on I leave it and let someone else take a look at it. If it does not move after three or four weeks I usually just make a decision and let fly. I like stories that have most of the words spelled correctly, have a continuing question that is actually a question, and have enough information in the first thread to introduce the story and characters. Beyond that if it passes the site's rules it is fine with me.
