You do sound pretty young, but that doesn't mean it's not a fair question, really. I'm pushing 30 and part of the reason I started coming here was honestly curiousity about the way other people experience their sexuality.

Any of us can only speak from our own experience, and there's no one way lesbians or any other types of people make love. But speaking from my own rather limited experience, I found that making love with another woman was much less about insert-slot-A-into-tab-B and much more about a whole-body sensual experience. It involved a lot of touching and feeling everywhere, not just genitalia.

I'm not sure what thread I read it in but I do remember someone saying that more recently porno films aimed at 'straight men' are being made by women or lesbian women or something along those lines.

That being the case don't they have an oppurtunity to, 'enlighten' men as to what really takes place? guys really aren't that dense that they believe what they see on the screen. I suppose there might be an element of wanting to keep it all a mystery or something along those lines but it does seem strange that if porno films are being made more and more by women that they still portray these very poor stereo types of lesbians, and in particular what they do. considering the huge ben and jerries range of flavours of straight sex films there are out there, catering for every taste and kink, to only have, well 'vanilla lesbian films' in the main stream is disappointing.

There is an increasing number of women that are getting involved in the making of porn. However, from what I have seen, the majority of these movies are targeted more at the couples market. In other words, they are trying to produce a product that is more likely to be purchased by couples to watch together. A good example of this is Nina Hartley's "How to" series.

There is a growing lesbian porn industry, but what I have seen of these appears to be directed at women, not men, or couples.

I've seen porn and read lesbian erotica but I have no way of knowing what happens in r/l. I'm not young, but I suspect that a lesbian could teach me a thing or two about pleasing a lady in bed.
