Maybe you should email the author. He specifically calls out white supremacy in the beginning of the paragraph.

If you took writing courses, you'd understand that white supremacy is the topic of the paragraph and so other references in the paragraph refer to that.

If you didn't take writing classes, you'd accuse the author of calling for the death of white people.
