"Lecterngate" is the gift that keeps on giving.
$19,000 of state money paid to a company to design and build a custom lectern for Gov Sanders.

Side note: Nobody can find this lectern now, although there are pictures of it being delivered.

When journalists brought this up, the governor back-dated a memo indicating that this was to be paid by the State GOP party.
The comptroller of the state, recognizing she was being thrown under the bus, forwarded the email order to back-date the reimbursement to everyone she could think of to cover her own ass.
So the state GOP party pays for the lectern and everyone is happy right?

Well.....it turns out the the company who actually made the custom lectern was 50% owned by...wait for it... Gov. Huckabee-Sander's lifelong friend from elementary school.

I appreciate everyone who follows me on this board but just to clarify, my early preference in the GOP primaries has been for DeSantis. Haley is rising on my shortlist though. I don’t live in Arkansas but the poll that Rory, a fellow poll follower shared, suggests that AR residents are feeling pretty good relative to the nation at large. Biden would sacrifice another dog or a grandkid to have polling numbers like hers.
