I don't sell my writing, so comments are my reward for writing. Even bad comments make me happy. It means I engaged the reader and caused strong enough feelings to make them comment. Isn't that what art is all about. Creating strong emotions?

Just today I saw a new comment on a story that said
That put a smile on my face because
1. Mr. Mouse read the story or he wouldn't have known there was nothing to like.
