...dealt with being totally shut down on things they want to try with their partners.

A little background...

I have been with my wife for 16 yrs now, and during that time, there have been 3 kinks I have tried to slip into our play time. 2 and a half of these have been totally shut down upon being suggested, the half that slipped through gets minimal attention.

It is usually difficult enough to finally admit to someone that you want to try something new, but the humiliation that comes with being shut down so simply is not fun and can be mood killing.

I know from reading so many threads here that many people are in my same situation, in that they are more sexual than their spouse, so they come here to find like minded people. Just curious how others have handled a similar situation...post here or pm me comments.

You do realize that the time to talk about sex is NOT in the bedroom, right? When you try to talk about sex in the bedroom, there is pressure and drama surrounding it. Have the conversation in a neutral territory, where honesty and openness is nurtured and welcomed.
