How far are you willing?

How far are you willing to drive or fly to meet someone that you have been talking to online?
Im not talkng about a Lit. or chat room meeting.. im talking one on one?

I have drove 200 miles to meet someone that i talked to online... but bf did most of the driving... but that still counts.

I'd go as far as the money allowed.

I've had people come from both Japan (2 from Japan at different times) and America to visit with me.

My Japanese friend is planning a second trip now.

I had a woman fly out to meet me, she was from another state and it was rather far. I said I would fly out to meet her but she could not wait ... so she flew to me.

We had a nice time and are still friends.

To answer your question, I would meet some one ... if I had a really good connection , distance would not be a problem.

Depends. Is the trip specifically to meet that person?

It depends on the friend, but I regularly drive 400+ miles just to ride my horse in a new spot or hang out with friends or visit family, so throwing in a meeting with someone wouldn't be that big of a deal.

There are a couple of people I would travel to visit, no matter how far away they were.

I would say I don't have any limits. Given someone and I mutually wanted to meet bad enough. Though money might pose as a problem. I have a couple friends in Australia and New Zealand that I hope to one day afford to meet.
I have never gone anywhere to meet anyone from online. It has somehow always worked out that they come to where I am at.

I know exactly what you mean.

When my bf drove me to VA to meet my online friend that i have been talking to online and by phone for the last 6 yrs, it wasnt like this was the first time we "met", this time we was just face to face.

We are planning on another meeting this year. But this time, hes planning on driving to meet me in my neck of the woods.

I'd fly to the other side of the country, just to see cym( that's time & money permitting). Next calender year it should be possible.

It's perfectly concievable I'd make the shorter trips to meet others, or incorporate them into cross-country journey.

To visit most people I'd like to see, I'd have to walk between 2000 and 3000 miles and across an ocean...but ...wow..it'd be worth it.
