No. If we're going for branding, I say "Bitch" right across his ass gets the point across nicely. Anyone who actually gets that far should have sufficient warning at that point that right about now is a good time to escape.

I mean, after all, if he's so very interested in sub's opinions... maybe he really is one? Maybe all of this is just projection? Maybe what he's really trying to say is "Please, someone, hang me from the ceiling in a physically harmful position and beat me 'till I bleed, and don't forget to invite the audience!"....

I have a couple of cheap-ass short bullwhips that I've cracked a couple of times but considering their construction and lack of flexibility, I've put them aside so as not to develop any "bad habits" that I will have to un-learn once I have a good whip.

I'm looking for a 4' snake or signal whip, something I can use indoors for a scene. I have a sneaky suspicion that my janey and a couple of her friends are conspirin.. uh... cooperating, yeah! Cooperating! That's the ticket! Cooperating to get me one for Christmas. I can only hope!

Currently, in the "singletail" category of things I have (and use) a pair of dragon's tails. They are the suede/leather equivalent of your high-school locker room "rat tail"... a wet, rolled up towel used like a whip. Yes, you can break skin with them. ONE of my dragon's tails is now a single person toy because I did draw blood with it! *weg*

Like any toy, it can produce a variety of sensations from thuddy to stingy to "OMG, you BASTARD! That HURT!" Hehehehe... I like that one! *grin*

When I get the good whip and get in practice, those of you who would like to experience the feel of a single-tail will be welcome to negotiate for a scene! You'll have to live within a reasonable driving distance of Columbia, SC (I consider 3-1/2 to 4 hours "reasonable") or be willing to travel to somewhere within that reasonable range. In the meantime, scenes with floggers, canes, dragon's tails, violet wands, needles, wax, ice, rope, knives, etc, etc, etc are available... *LOL*

Favorite places to play (other than my own home) include 1763 in Atlanta, The Outback in Augusta, and CAPEX parties in Charlotte. I'd be willing to try The Iron Castle in Greensboro, NC or The Sandbox in Sandersville, GA, or ChaSM's play space in Charleston, SC.

A couple of things to remember about the two styles of whip you are interested in.

The snake whip, you can easily replace the cracker after ever scene. Also if forbid you were to damage the fall it also is designed to be relpaced easily.


The signal whip, man it is designed as such it is a real pain to replace the cracker, see the cracker is plaited into the whip itself.

To detox leather really isnt as bas as it sounds, ok lets get it out of the way that nothing is 100% unless it is a throw away.

To detox a leather item use a spray disinfectant, yes it has an adverse effect on leather but you can also retreat your leather item and maintain it pretty well.

LOL, hope you have fun with it when you get one. I'm not that keen on nylon, partly because I'm allergic to the stuff, but also looks and feel. I am hoping he will allow me to order a handmade kangaroo leather snakewhip to add to our collection in the near future....love the feel of kangaroo leather, especially on my flesh.

Really, I just loved the flexible snaketail, and in that length. The last whip I played with was a frikken rawhide bullwhip, and it was a monster. This one was small enough to be handy, and I felt that I could actually conceive of using it on my wife. The rawhide beast would not be something I'd be throwing at her.

I'm sure that I'd be just as happy with a kangaroo leather snaketail of similar construction. I was just so surprised to find that I enjoyed the heck out of that particular whip =)

Yep, our kangaroo bullwhip and stockwhips are too big to use easily indoors so I am going to hopefully get either a 2-3' snakewhip, or a bullwhip of similar size.
