Is flirting to you a bit of harmless fun, or is there more to it?

Do you feel that your cheating on your partner (or that they are cheating on you) if you/they flirt with other people?

I am just curious - I flirt to try and hide the fact I am nervous when interacting with new people (male or female) and wondered how and why other litizens flirt!

:rose:

If you choose other please explain...

Hell, I've been a flirt since I realized girls were different from boys and the reason why!

Even my wife accepts that! It's fun!:D

If you think flirting is more than harmless fun your in the wrong place!!!

Estevie (my gf) and I have a deal, what we do here is just for fun, no more. It works for us and we share! ;)

I flirt for sex, you mean there is another reason to flirt?

I am what I would call a natural born flirt - I can't help it, it comes as naturally to me as breathing.

But I know that there are some people that feel I am just "being a tart" as I have a happy relationship and therefore shouldn't need to flirt to gain attention from others...

I was just trying to see if I was in the minority on this and that my way of thinking of it as just a laugh was wrong.

So long as it doesn't cross over certain limits, I don't see it as an issue. Then again, I'mm a natural born flirt myself. :)

For me, completely harmless fun. It is a game. Especially here at Lit. Lots of people to play with and everyone should have a good time.;)

Is there more to it? Ahhh...good question. If someone reads more into my flirting than what is there, we run into problems. But overall , most people here know me.

Flirting is fun! And I know.... that it isn't anything more than that.
It makes me feel good...and if someone reciprocates...it makes me feel as if I still have the ability to attract.

No matter what situation you are in...bad or good... everyone wants to feel wanted...

Lit people flirt because they can...most are role playing...most are not under the illusion that someone is going to leave their So for them...or travel miles to get laid...

except for you...

Flirting really is what you make it. Some people take it as more than you mean it to be. The important thing is to make sure those involved know the difference.

I think I can be a flirt but that varies and depends on the people I am talking to and the situation.

I'm all for it, I love flirts, adore flirts. What's a bird without it's song? Keep at it Vivacia. As an alpha-male, it doesn't worry me at all - it's only a prob for the "sneaky fuckers"

Flirting, to me, is harmless fun and I'm horrible at it, so I'm getting my practice in here at Lit.

I don't consider flirting cheating, but I wouldn't do it in front of my bf, and I would expect him to have the same good sense. Flirting is for me, a way to show someone that they are fun, sexy and that I appreciate that.

Who said you can only flirt if you're single? Attatched people need to know they're loved and appreciated too.

So, in short, keep up the good work!
;) :)

That's funny...I like that idea!

People in a relationship should not flirt, it is a slap in the face to your SO. IMHO!

But... But... What if your partner likes being slapped around a little... Ah nevermind... ;)

Do you view the attatched people who flirt here in a lesser light fillmup? Would you trust any of us in a relationship, or no?

I wouldn't trust any of you as far as I could see you. I've seen some of the shit that goes on. "I love my husband" "I'm happily married" threads..... Then turn around and cyber fuck the hell out of the next guy who responds to a post.

I see Sean Connery when I picture you baby, he is hot and so are you!

I am happily married and I flirt. (How do you think I met my husband?) My husband is happily married and he flirts too. Flirting is fun as long as you follow one rule.
If you are attached, never flirt with anyone that will take you seriously!
