How do you teach a terror filled country to live without fear?

This is one thing I don't understand. So many people keep saying that when we win this war, we'll be able to teach Iraq how to live better, how to live without the fear, and how to just be safe.


How do we do that?


You have a nation split right down the middle. One side is filled with people raised to be terrorists. They know how to torture, how to maim, and how to bully to get what they want.

On the other side, you have the ones who were raised to be scared, to do as they were told, and to not question it.




How exactly are we just supposed to change that? Are we taking over the country? Is it going to be the United State of Iraq? Are we going to put our own president in there?

I mean, if we put a president there, someone from there, who is to say our way of doing politics will work for them? I'm not big on politics, but one thing I do know is that politics don't always work the same for each country.

I mean really, if they did, there would only be 1 type, right? My whole theory on it is that if we do get to the point of 'teaching them to live right', and stick a new system in there, what's to stop the next terrorist from doing as his predesessors have done, and take over again?

I just don't think it's black and white. I know we can't just impose our ways on them, and expect it work, without thought of how the people will react.

There, that's my serious post for the year, cause really, I am reaaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyyyy not in to politics at all.

75 percent of Iraqi's are in the scared camp I think you'll find love, the other's are just bully boy ruling class.

There seems to be a misunderstanding that the war against Iraq is part of the anti terror campaign, it isn't, it's about getting rid of Saddam and any possible deadly weapons he may have, also about controlling the region and so the oil reserves.

Most Iraqi's will raise a glass or two to the fall of Saddam, they hate him.

Iraqi Muslims are a totally different breed to the lunatics who attacked the towers, they are more likely to fight each other than join forces.
