How do you start a new thread?

??? Everything looks really old.
Umm... you start a new thread exactly the way you started this one. Go to the forum front page and click on the "New Thread" button.

Need some charcoal to absorb all that alcohol in your system?

Didn't mean to rattle any cages. It just seems like all the.recent threads on this forum were started a long time ago.

Does it matter that a thread was started a long time ago if it still gets new posts? And there are plenty of new threads here, too. Or is a thread started yesterday also considered old?

Okay, this thread officially just blew my mind. I say we all work to make this one into one of those threads that's years old, too. :D

I like this thread so far.

It's zen. Or Marx brothers.

Like...

Calling your wireless carrier on your cell to ask them how to make a call.

Surfing the Web to see how to get online.

Flipping the circuit breaker in order to be able to have light to read instructions on getting your power back on.

Hiking the Appalachian Trail to Maine from Georgia to attend a seminar on how to prepare to hike the Appalachian Trail.

;)

Okay. That said, I do recall when I first got on Lit, and how it seemed as complicated and button-laden as a digital flying blender, an espresso fog machine, or a sex site with stories, poetry and message boards.

I'd say you maybe figured it out.

Although next time I'd maybe pick a better topic for a thread...

There's still plenty of interesting threads here, regardless of when they were started.

Driving to your driving lesson.

Sitting still, breathing deeply and staying silent until you figure out how to meditate.
