Curiosity (and drubkness) askiing here.
You get an email or pm. It's saying how much they loved a story and it made them cum or made them so wet....
Do you replay and, if you do, what do you say?

I immediately try to establish some kind of relationship with them.... but then that is basically why I wrote the story to begin with...

:D

Uhhhh let me clarify that for accuracy.... If it is a guy..... I politely thank him and wish him godspeed..... If it is a woman.... see my previous answer....

I haven't gotten any yet, but if I get any feedback (with a name attached) I email them and thank them, whether it is negative or not. So, I guess I would do the same thing to a msg. Seems only polite :)

I'll admit those feedbacks give me an extra grin.

But, if I can, since most such feedbacks are sent anonymously, I just send a "Thank you very much" reply.

If they want more than that, I'm easy to find. ;)

I drop them a line and let them know how much I apreciate their comment. I figure if they acctually put their name on the comment I should at least do that:)

I thank them, say I'm glad everything came out all right in the end and how I'm happy they enjoyed the story that much.

I always thank somebody who takes the trouble to leave PC or send a message. If they're anon, then obviously I can't. But I don't allow anon feedback since I found it was only ever nasty. Anon PC's are more common.

If the feedback is primarily along the lines of 'your story made me cum so hard and now I want to fuck you', then i make my response brief and along the lines of, 'thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed the story.' ;)

I have ended up with several email friends through replying to feedback. :D

`"I'm glad you enjoyed my story, thanks for taking the time to send me some feedback, check out my other stories at www.victoriablisse.co.uk"

that's how I reply :D

Ever noticed how people sometimes think that you, as the writer, ARE the story you wrote? That you must be writing about yourself, and not fictional characters? These people scare me and I avoid them.

I always reply to feedback and sometimes to PC's. I thank them for the feedback, gently direct them to my other work, and say I'm glad they enjoyed my story. I've had some great email friendships start that way.

It doesn't happen much these days, but when I first posted on here I was mistaken for a female writer. I guess the name Boota isn't gender specific and a lot of the people who gave me feedback presumed that I was woman due to the way I wrote The Man In The Woods. Consequently, I got a small bit of feedback from guys wanting to fuck my "hot pussy" or just tell me how hard I made their cocks. I let them down easy. I can only imagine how creeped out they were when they found out I was me. LOL.

My response to "your story made me cummmmmm" or "your story made me sooooo wet" -

Look, bitch. I don't know whos story you were reading but it wasn't mine. Get a fucking life!

I've sent that response about 30 times now :D

When they leave an address I reply with my thanks and guide them to the rest of my stories.... I have been lucky with anon and pub comments. Most of them are quite sweet and sincere... then other ones just make my sides burst from laughing...

In the beginning a few kept writing to me, but when they realized I wouldnt cyber with them they faded away.... thats okay with me...

I reply that I'm glad the story had the effect I had intended (assuming their message indicated it did) and that I appreciate not only that they enjoyed it but that they took the time to tell me so. I only reply to direct e-mails, though, if a PM comment indicates a name, I don't reply to that. I don't want to appear needy for the attention.

I also don't try to initiate a relationship as a poster up the line does. I'm up to my neck in intense relationships already. If they want to talk about a certain thing or ask me a question about the story or me that I find interesting and generates heat, I'll stoke the fire for an exchange or two--but the only intense cyber relationship I have--and have the time to deal with--I latched on to here a year and a half ago--and that's quite enough.

I delete the email, and give no response.

If they take the time to actually read my stories and send me feedback, I send them a thank you email. If they're propositioning me in anyway, I just disregard it and stick to the professional and courteous thank you.

Of course, it's been so long since I posted a story here that it's a non-issue these days.

I guess asking for photographic proof is a little tacky

I reply with a thank you and happy to be of service message and recommend another story for their contemplation. Yes, contemplation is a good word ;)

I've made a bunch of good e-mail friends this way over the years.

I usually reply with a thank you. I get so few, it takes little time.

I reply much the same way I do to all feedback. I thank them and tell them I'm glad they enjoyed it. I may further comment, depending on what they've said, and I leave it at that. I've only had a few who have attempted to pursue it further. Those I generally don't answer unless they've got something more interesting to say than "Hey, baby. Wanna cyber?"

That being said, I do find it amusing that some folks are offended by that type of feedback. They're above it all, I guess. We are writing for a porn site, after all. My goal is to entertain, and if that includes getting the readers off, then I'd say I've hit my mark.

I agree. Erotica should be, well, erotic. So if someone emails that my story made them hard/wet/cuuuuuuuum allover their keyboard, then they're giving me a compliment. No one said readers had to be eloquent.

Exactly. You've touched them. What better compliment can there be?

The absolute best, though, is when another writer says something like that.

(Did I just contradict myself?:D)

That's not a contradiction imo. Writers are readers too; they're just readers who can look at an additional dimension of your stories.
