How do YOU pamper yourself?

OK, so some days or nights just BITE (and not in a good way); perhaps money is incredibly tight, not a penny to spare; your SO has not appreciated you for all that you do for him/her;

So? How do YOU pamper yourself? What is that one or two little things that YOU just cannot do without? A glass of wine late at night alone? ladies-- that mani/pedi? Guys-- Drinks w/ the guys discussing sports and women?

So what is IT?

If I can convince Mr. Riles to hold the fort with the kiddies, I head over to sisters where we pull out the blender for a batch of margaritas, crank up the stereo and shove the furniture aside so we can dance, laugh and generally act silly while we get quite looped.

Otherwise it's hot bath, lotsa bubbles, a glass or three of wine and a trashy novel.

I don't think I've had time to pamper myself in EONS. But if I had the chance? A pedi - 100%. I love walking out of the salon with shiny, happy toes. Makes everything feel better.

I get an old fashion, straight razor and hot lather shave.

I use to know an older Italian gentleman that gave a great shave. Turkish towels and the whole nine yards

We have a place in Beverly Hills that does that also......its NOT old school, but indeed at times it can make me feel better than a massage.......

For immediate pampering I do the whole bubble bath, glass of wine and candles thing.

I could also have Nat give me an all over sensual body massage

For a total girly pampering, I'll go for massage, or facial...maybe both, and a pedicure.

Makes me feel good all over.

I love aromatherapy, so my candles are often scented.

I like the smell of lavender or even peppermint to soothe and calm me.



and if I'm going for pampering, head to toe is the way to go

Actually a merlot scented candle...I adore the fragrance, it's just extremely indulgent! Oh hush lol, umm depends, there've been sometimes where I've fallen asleep in my bubblebath...I try not to, but it's happened before.
