I know it’s a bit weird to use historical language to write explicit erotica but I thought it made things more realistic. Any views?
 
Historical language can work fine, as long as you know what you're doing. "Forsooth" and "An thou wishest, fayre maid" doesn't make for a good story. Read original literature from the period you're trying to imitate. You'd be surprised how close to normal English it is, assuming you're writing anything after 1700 or so.

Here's my own attempt at 19th century Gothic: The Countesses of Tannensdal. And yes, I maintained the style even in the sex scenes.
