What are the standards for Lit. writers? What level of writing is needed to achieve those standards and beyond? 4 out of 5 is considered a good score by most, so is that the standard? Do they need to receive H's to make the grade? Can you compare different genres together?

As a writer, I will ever judge another writer's story based on standards. What they create is a personal expression and for readers, it's their job to interpret what has been made, just like a painting. Galleries are filled with artwork, all different in contexts, but none are judged on a common set of standards. Libraries are the same.

I have standards, not high standards, but standards. For example, she cant shit on the bed or puncture my tires with a butcher knife. I know a Tampa judge who's mighty okey with the tire business.
