Separate the "scene" persona from the real you and enjoy the fantasy. Besides guilt/shame/submission are all forms of self-abasement on the D/s environment. The reality is a cliché of mind over matter, only in the reality it only matters in the temporary reality you take on.

I've now taxed my limited understanding of BDSM D/s and will go on to worthier pursuits...;-)
