How do you become a Moderator ?

i see that afew of the boards dont have mods and i was woundering how would i go about becoming one ? Any help would be really good.

Neither. But I used to join in with the mods more than the rockers.

I have absolutely no idea, but you might like to try asking Laurel.

I do not know but my advice would be to contact laurel, or perhaps KillerMuffin or another moderator. They would be more knowledgeable.

I think (and I am ONLY guessing) though that you need to perhaps be around Lit a bit longer, so that you can better understand what goes on and how things work. Just a guess though.

If you want to be a mod you must...

Prove you do stand for at least 70% of all national anthems that you have witnessed being sung...and you have to have a damn good co-signer...you must also undergo intenesive NASA and SEAL type exercies and training...only the best can become literotica mods....

On the main homepage go into stories and pics. Then go into FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions). There is a "What are moderators" this link tells you how to go about becoming one.

Laurel selected mods for the forums that are moderated in different manners. Some offered, some whined, some got hijacked into it.

The other forums don't require moderators as there has never been problems in those forums that require moderation in any method that Laurel can't supply on her own.

Laurel will not permit the GB to be moderated to prevent the entire "playing favorites" issue.

Which reminds me, I need to be removed as a mod from the ORP forum. There's too many.

The only way to become a mod is to specifically request the position from Laurel. Don't get your panties in a bunch if-- probably when-- you get turned down. There are over 30,000 members and about 8 mods. Moderators aren't overly required, in my opinion. This is, however, entirely Laurel's call.
