How do you add a pic to your post?

I was wondering how to I add a picture to my post without have a link. Just where the pic shows up. Sorry I am still new to all this, you probably have been asked this 100 or so times.

be patient, it takes more than fifteen minutes for someone inclined to repeat themselves to answer these questions that get asked repeatedly.

The simple answer is that you CAN'T attach a picture show it automatically displays. You can link a picture that is on the web and it will display, but attachments are configured to only show a link.

Check out the "Test Your Posting Here" thread -- it's a long thread, but most of the repetitive questions have been answered at least once there.

you used to be able to post your pic right in your post.
but it got changed because of space needed. it takes
a long time to load a lotta pictures compared to loading
a lotta links.
