How do u save a story in progress

How do u save a story in progress. I was working and almost finished a story but I did not know how to save it so I would be able to return and finish it.
I lost all that work - I have to be able to save a story or I am not going to fool
with it anymore.


Going to write using WORD and then PASTE to post.

Just write it in Word or other such program and post it when it is ready.

Or you can add the thread with a little note at the bottom saying "UNFINISHED THREAD - I WILL FINISH THIS LATER" or some such. Kindly editors will probably let this pass, as long as you follow up on your promise.

Alternatively, cut the thread in half. Add an option in the middle and split the thread in to 2. You can then write one thread and come back to the other when you have time. This can even work mid-sex, with the classic "What happens next?" end or the more-imaginative-but-somewhat-leading "Do you go down on her or flip her over and fill her ass?" option.

The beauty of CHYOO is that you can do pretty much what you please

While that's a good idea you still run the risk of the page timing out on you and loosing your work up to that point. The safest option is to use Word (or notepad/open office/whatever) and then just copy your work over when it's done.

Yeah the page timeout can be a pig. I always type it into CHYOO and then CTRL-C the whole thread, just in case. It's saved my bacon on more than one occasion
