How do they Boycott? Let us count the ways.

Actually some employers do have morals and are not entirely driven by corporate greed (see, the original Ben & Jerry).

Plus, some don't like disharmony in the workplace and if banishing the hatred of the right wing assists in a productive workplace and encourages extra sales, why do you disapprove?

That bar/restaurant that went viral for telling people to get out because of Bud & Dylan to pleading for people to come back after losing money. I don’t recall the name or if they are still in business.
Neither large nor small are immune.

So lemme get this correctly-
Corporations - bad, they need to be taxed at 90% (Sanders)
“Woke” Corporations - good (will they still get the crazy tax rates?)

Let be honest, you think those guys give a damn about trans this or whatever that? Only if it amounts to one of two things- more business, or losses.

I wouldn’t go assigning any high moral status to Nike or Apple just cuz they put rainbow colours on their logo every June. Are the workers in sweats shops even aware of the wonky politics the company practices on this side of the ocean? The end product consumers of sweat shop products act like pompous entitled asses while the workers who make the crap only want a days wage or the miners of your rare Earth materials for your batteries hope not to die from the exposure to work environments. BUT on this side of the world people have to get their fuckin pants up their ass over fuckin gay beer or kids tuck-away swim trunks.

Nowhere near fuckin sane. Admit it.
You didn’t read what I wrote.

The criteria has basically just devolved from "full support of 'trans groomers -'" to "anyone with a rainbow flag or statement supporting pride.month"

Pretty soon it's just going to be "employing someone who isn't straight"

Ranging from retailer Target and chocolate maker Hershey's to TV networks Fox News and Discovery+, the campaigns come as the LGBTQ+ community faces increasing scrutiny from lawmakers.

But the latest company to face backlash is cereal maker, Kellogg's after its Frosted Flakes mascot, Tony the Tiger, appeared on the red carpet at Broadway's Tony Awards in New York City on Sunday.

A video of the tiger creeping up on Mulvaney and giving her a fright appeared on Twitter, as anti-trans social media users called for people to boycott Kellogg's.
has anyone considered that boycotting fox news, Hersheys, Cracker Barrell, piss poor beer and sweet cereals just might do these magats some good regarding their health and mental well-being?

to achieve some sense of normality, feed your body and mind with better quality nutrition:
  • quit watching sources of disinformation
  • drink more water
  • cut out the sweet/fatty crap
  • & get more exercise... (they're having to go further to get shit they want whilst avoiding some of their previously favourite stores)

the rabid joy of gullible 'patriot christians' was palpable after some dick posted a picture and caption suggesting the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence receiving an award created an almost empty stadium as 'patriots' aka 'fuckheads' boycotted the Dodger's game.

The claim: Post implies fans boycotted Dodgers game where LGBTQ group received an award

The implied claim here is wrong. More than 49,000 fans bought tickets for the game, which is more than average for the Dodgers this season, and photos and videos from the game show a large crowd. The stadium appeared to be mostly empty because the ceremony was held about an hour before the game, so many fans had yet to arrive.

MAGAts are now calling for a boycott of Yosemite, because snowflakes don't like Pride events.

Yoze-Might Sam wouldn't have been a fraidy-cat.

if enough magats boycott all these places, they'll become so much more attractive spots to be in
“Please promise us you’ll try and cancel Yosemite,” someone replied. “I’m being serious. If you conservatives are so upset that they’re showing support for us then please by all means stay home and drink your Coors light and then maybe just maybe the park will be enjoyable again without the crowds.”

An employee who works as a refrigerator technician at the park chimed in to share their disappointment at the hate on the post and to wish everyone a happy Pride month.

“I’m extremely grateful for this incredible community, this is the first workplace I’ve ever felt safe being out of the closet,” they said.

Elsewhere on social media, people even welcomed the boycott.

“Yosemite posted a pride post (literally just park rangers with pride flags) and people in the comments are having straight meltdowns,” someone said on Twitter. “Hoping they boycott so the crowds get smaller.”

Buy what you want, don't buy what you don't want. I have never been in favor of boycotts of products. Because in the end who gets hurt the most is employees of the company, not the owners.

Just as company owners have the right to support causes they believe in, so do consumers have the right to spend their money elsewhere. Just like so much else in this country these are all politically motivated and both sides are doing it to the point of ridiculousness.

Hate to tell the stupid...they have to had bought a product...in order to stop buying it to have an affect. What did a boycott work for a piss-tasti g beer? Because that's what they drank. Conservatives don't eat skittles...or any Mars product. Too classy of candy

And?

This thread makes me wonder if, in your world, people are required to patronize companies whose social dealings they don't agree with. You know, that free speech thing you're always yapping about. Apparently it only applies to your favored people and not everyone.
TRANSLATION: I don't like gays or trans people so I'm not going to support any companies that even so much as acknowledge their existence, let alone respect them.

We get it. We actually figured this out a long time ago.

And yeah, that is your right to patronize, or boycott, whom you want to. I would never, for example, buy "My Pillow" even if it's the most comfortable pillow in the world.
