If you are having fantasies about a person of the same sex, that usually is termed " bi-curious ".

And a lot of women go thru that. Some of us act on them, some of us wonder all our lives about what might have been.

Most ( I SAID MOST, NOT ALL ) lesbians are just not attracted to the opposite gender. For many different reasons. And quite possibly for some, the thought of being with a man is not appealing. And the same for men who do find other men more attractive than women.

alot of us fantasise about things that in reality we woudln't want to act on.
I would say that if you eye women up in department stores, have specific fantasises about licking a womans cunt or feeling her breasts then you are probably bi (ish) and may want to try it out for real.
re best friend maybe an intimacy issue? do you have alot of close friends you can touch and hug? do you equate intimacy with sex (i used to do that and slept with someone until i realised that actually i just enjoyed having a close relationship with them it didn't involve sex.
