  :p :p Hi!!! Would love to try this!!! How do I go about joining a group??? Any answers greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!

Love, Peter

Peter , it is common curtesy to pm a member of the SRP , normally the thread writer to ask if you can join it ....but closed threads mean what it says , it is closed to the actual writers ....hope that is of any help to you ..:)

Main thing is to have fun !!!!!...lol..lol...:)

:D

Peter, welcome to Lit! SRP can be alot of fun and you'll find many of your fellow writers willing to help you out anytime you have questions about formtats and so forth.

As you read through the exsiting threads you can do as Sarah suggests, pm a thread starter and just ask to join. If a thread that really intrests you is closed, you can pm the thread starter and let them know that you'd be availble next time they start something new.

There are often open casting calls for new threads. Just drop by one of those and introduce yourself. Be courteous, be consistant, and you'll be getting invitations before no time.

Hi Peter

welcome to srp.

One comment to what has been said in here.

I think that if you see a thread that is OPEN you could and should regard it as open, if you pm the starter and asks if you can join someone else might have taken the role before you had the chance. .. And yes it happened to me a couple of weeks ago ;)

But i agree with sarah and kit .. a pm will not hurt

Welcome Peter to the roleplaying......What the people have said here is vert true.....See you around.:D

Hello Peter the Wiz. Welcome to a very addictive hobby, I know first hand just how addictive it can be. *L*

All you've already read is good advice. I'd also start a Buddy List of those you write with. That will let you 'see' if they're on or offline when you are by accessing your User CP or Control Panel.

Personally, when I log on I answer the posts of those online before I begin on the ones for those offline. This gives myself and the other writer a chance to interact more quickly.

Also I'd suggest planning on posting at least once and maybe twice a day to each story or thread you enter as it helps to keep the "flow" going.

PM me if you want any time and I'll be happy to try and assist, if I can.
