Need assistance on finding a specific story
How do I get help on finding a specific story?

There is a "Searching for Story" subforum, but it's tucked away up in the Story Feedback forum, so here's a link to get you there.
Something you should be aware of, however.
First, more often than not those of us who wander through tend to be either people also looking for stories or writers (if you can stretch the definition to include hacks such as myself). So, you may get a lot of input from writers marketing their own stuff, whether it seems to fit your parameters or not.
Second, there is not just a lot of apparent activity there. More often than not what will happen is we will read your post and if it doesn't ring any bells for anything specific, we will wander off again without saying anything. And even then, it doesn't have the high traffic of, say, the Playground. So you may be waiting a day or two (or a week) for someone to wander in and go "hey! I know that one!"
One final note is that there is a sticky there (blue highlighted thread at the top) with some pretty good instructions for using an outside search to locate what you are searching for. And another post by Laurel embedded in it that is a pretty inclusive direction of how to use Lit's search function on the story side.
