How do I get an avatar....

I have tried what people have told me to do...go into "user cp" and I click on options etc etc...but it doesn't show me anything. What am I doing wrong or where am I going thats wrong?

Since Guru is being slow...

At the top of each BB page is a link labed "user CP" (

in the darkbblue/ grey colors scheme.)

At the top of that page is a row of links. Click the "edit options" link.

The very last item on the edit options page, is avatar. Click the button labeled "change avatar" (if you already have one selected, I don't remember if it read something different when I didn't have on place.)

On the page that link takes you to, check custom avatar, and either fill in the URL box if your avatar is on the web already, or click the browse button to find the file on your hard drive. (if you have it on your drive, it must be smaller than 20Kb AND less than 150x150 pixels in size. Reducung the color depth will reduce file size faster athan resizing the picture.)

Click submit changes. Et Voila. Avatar!

I have no clue. Maybe later, I'll try adding my avatar to my Alter Ego and see if there is an "age limit" in effect now. There wasn't one when the new version of the BB went up, because I've seen several "virgins" with avatars. Manu may have changed the authorizations since then?
