How do I edit a story?

I'm having difficulty understanding how I can edit a story that has already been approved and "published." I've gotten comments from a number of readers that my story "Mommie Dearest" ends too abruptly. A couple of respondents said they really liked the story but asked whether part of it had been mysteriously dropped. I went back to the story and saw that it could use a more "satisfying" ending. I've made the changes in my draft and would like to submit it. But as I look over the site I'm not finding directions about how to amend a story already approved. Could someone please clue me in? Much appreciated.

The best way to do it is to submit it as a new story, with the words "RESUBMIT - EDIT" in the title area next to the story title. That way, I'll know to take your new story text and replace your old text with it. You can retain your voting scores, etc.
