Hi.
Sometimes when someone replies to one of my post, their response starts out with a quote from MY post, which is in bold.
Now are they copying and pasting that using the "Quote" button ? Or is there some option that does that for you ?
Also, it seems like I can only reply to the last posting on the thread. Is there away to reply directly to say the second or third person up on the thread. You know, sometimes I want to direct my comments to someone other than the last poster.

Thanks !

If you want to respond to someone other than the last poster, you can find at the bottom of each individual post a "quote" button...just click on that.I don't know how to quote more than one person in one response...

sorry

have fun,
joanna

Ok, i am not going to touch the secon part of the question, but i will answer the first

if you scroll to the bottom of the post, where it has the post reply button, just above that is 2 blue words edit and quote. these are links to tell your computer how to do the reply. I hit the quote button to do this message

If you need to change part of your post after hitting the submit button, then you use the edit button

You can respond to any post in a thread by clicking on the "Quote" button at the bottom of the post to which you wish to reply. Which is what I did here.

To quote more than one post, first copy one post into your clipboard. Then click the Quote button from the second post you wish to quote. Next, paste the other post from your clipboard into the response window that came up after you clicked on Quote and wrap around it the same vB codes that you see around the post that you quoted using the button (by this, I mean the various codes enclosed in brackets like these []. To make it look truly like the automatic quotes, you could also add the phrase, "Originally posted by XX" in italics at the start of your second quote.

Why didn't I think of that !
