How do I change my name?

I may be overlooking the brutally obvious, but EBW and Starfish, and whoever else has changed their name, how did you do it? Can you do it yourself or do I have to e-mail Laurel?

See, I reggied with this name not really planning to hang around, but now that I've decided to I'm a little embarassed of it and don't think it really suits me.
