For instruction on searching (google usually works better than the forum search function), avatars and other forum logistics, check out the FAQ sticky, Kase. In fact, any time you enter a new forum, take a few minutes to read the highlighted stickies at the top and observe the threads and dynamics of that particular forum. It'll make you experience here a lot more enjoyable.
