my excuse.. is, the local shop didn't have the latest copy of
penthouse letters...what can I say, I liked reading the articles...
Came home + looked online for "erotic stories"...+ voila..
was a few months of reading, before curiosity lead me to the rest of Lit...
now it's my late night relaxation destination...

Like many of you, I was initially led towards the stories by an internet search. However, it took me many years to discover the forums and a couple of months more to consider joining and posting. I was looking for anything BDSM oriented online. Most other sites had "one truth" that didnt suit me. Only here I found some different views and opinions. I never read stories much, it was self exploration trip for me.
I registered first time 2005. but I lost that account in one of my longer breaks from Lit.

Back then I was in a bad way with sexual loneliness as my wife was not well and we had a long time without much intimacy of any sort as she felt threatened by it, knowing what she could not give me; she got to the point that the prospect of intercourse was traumatic and so of course I totally backed off and assured her that, as long as it was going to take, I was waiting without any impatience. It was a tough time - mostly for her, but for me too.

I don't enjoy visual porn really, but stories proved a consolation for me, and a way into some solo times which were not simply horribly lonely. So I searched for ones that were much more than top shelf mag stuff, and found lit.

That led me quite soon to the forums too, and soon after that my good woman made an amazing turn around with her well being and, joy, her appetite for what we have together sexually, which was grand before her depression, has transmuted into voracious.

I know I am a more confident and more 'fun' lover through my experiences and friendships on lit, and I know also that this is really, really good for her.

Because we had that time in the desert sexually, I feel free to celebrate here on the boards the great and frequent sex we have once more; and I hope people don't think it's bragging; it sheer joy coming out of me!

So, hey! That's my lit story ... perhaps some day I try and write one ...

For now they are left unchallenged, but hopefully that will change. I do understand that it's not an easy problem to deal with and like any business, Literotica has to decide what is worth addressing and what is not.

Years ago I was in the mood for written stories for whatever reason. I had bought a few Penthouse Forum magazines (are they even still around?) then started visiting sex story newsgroups (alt.sex.stories...). Then I started visiting websites but so many focused on incest, underage and violent rape I stopped going to many.

I don't recall if Lit. was a link on one of the sites or if I stumbled upon it during a search, but it was and is the preferable story site for me.
