But there's been discussion about the timing of foreign counter-intelligence operations as what happened with that Russian hypersonic missile researcher. If any of this is true, and not mere coincidence, it just points how severely Trump fucked over our human intelligence.

the fact he had (as far as we have been told) information on 'a' (singular) nation's nuke capabilities makes me think first of North Korea and then Iran: information as to how advanced their programmes are, details of where developments are taking place, etc..., etc..., etc.... Information trump wanted kept from President Biden's people. For sure, Russia has to be right up there, given how cozy trump was with kissing putin-arse, though his reasons for keeping that particular country's information might be leverage. trump being the cunt he is, though, it's just as likely t wanted to be able to tell people HE knows more about Russian nuclear stuff than President Biden. So... pure childish umbrage. Who knows?
