...expressing the political views that you express here under the cover of anonymity but without anonymity and on, say, national television - ie a public forum to which literally everyone you know would be witness?

If you wouldn't, why wouldn't you?

Very comfortable. I firmly believe trump is a raping pedophile and that everyone who supports him is mentally challenged in some capacity.

I'd be a moderate in my state.

I have no issue expressing my political opinions in public. We talk politics during training runs sometimes. I have one friend who is a libertarian and we end up arguing through the whole run sometimes.

The man is physically incapable of giving a straight answer to even the simplest of questions...

"I'd be a moderate in my state"
Good for you.
What is that to do with the price of fish?

I would be fine with it.

That would be a profession, as a politician, activist, pundit, etc. Nobody here is at that level. The most active members here would need training and consultants to match the skills of drunk state legislators.

Well that post is not going to get you many dinner party invites now is it...?

Will I have to worry about MAGAts burning crosses in my lawn? AmeriKKKa now isn’t about free speech anymore. Should I have to worry about that threat?

Or.. to be real.. having cops show up at my house “by mistake” to shoot bullets through it cuz they are scared little shits? Or worse.. nameless badgeless uniformless masked assholes doing that?

Well, that's the heart of the question.

What's the consequence for you of speaking freely and without anonymity?

And let's say someone decides to confront you for your political views: is that person wearing a badge or are they a civilian neighbor?

Confront?
Verbally. Equally? Fine! Most MAGAts stay quiet here in CA. Can they defend anything that’s going on?
Or to punish?

Or would you be worried about the people who DON'T know you, if they own guns and decide to use "Second Amendment Solutions" instead of arguing with you?
