How close to the edge do you walk??

Personally I think I walk fairly close, I love knife play, and fire gets me going.
I've trusted people who've never once done them I know I'm far from an "expert" with any of it.
I'm young and I was curious as to how far thouse with no experiance would go with it... Unfortunately they didn't go very far it ended up scaring them and have only found 1 Master with experiance that would do some thing.. Then of couse there's the choking, and ive been choked till being uncontious before cause he didn't listen for the safe word.
In the past I've met many people in RT that say they walk the fine line that requires absolute trust, yet when asked about edge play they're clueless as to what it is and say oh ive only playe with candel wax.. I do seak to learn more about it and excactly how far would to far be considered?

So my question is, how close to the edge do you get and what do you consider edge play?

I was throwen into a catholic school and teachers there told me I was hopeless...how ever I'm using a cell phone at the moment as soon as I can I'll edit it on a computer where I can actualy read it better

It's incredibly long. For example, when reading this thread on an iPhone screen, I have to scroll the screen three times to get past your 'sig line' just to see who else has replies to the thread. On a regular computer screen, your 'sig line' takes up about 5 times the length of the other posters responses.

Parenting severely emotionally disturbed children. Nothing like grounding a kid and knowing full well they'd happily slit your throat after you're asleep. That's a bit on the edgy side, but I think it's falls more under the masochist category than anything.

Ok, in all seriousness, I've bottomed for fire play, been suspended by my ankles, played eel with various ways of being bound, I love breath play, needles are my new best friends (especially if it involves an endorphin button), knife play rocks if I'm not left in a touchy head space, wax that's hot enough to leave marks that last for month make me laugh maniacally, and I take impact play that has stopped the entire room. Not to diminish your general badassery but simply in defense of the fine state of Montana, I'd like to point out that Montana's governor, Brian Schweitzer, is a Democrat. He was an Obama supporter throughout the '08 campaign (even speaking at the Democratic convention), yet still won reelection with a 65/33 vote.

True, the state went for McCain by 3 points, but still - my point is that it's not like it's fucking Oklahoma, which went red by a 32 point margin.

For me, putting someone in suspension is edge. The minute possibility that I could damage an arm beyond its use for life or drop someone on their neck and kill them if I'm not attentive scares me enough to make it very seductive. I never get out of my depth with it, and I opt for doing it with others present, always 3 people minimum.
