How can I find out who has me as a favourite author

I see on the Favourites Portal that 17 people have me in their favourites. How can I find out who they are?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Approaching people on the street and asking them is an option.

Going back through your stories and looking up people that have left their names on their comments, and then going to check their favorites list on their profile page is a safer way, and is the only way I know of that wouldn't involve looking up everybody on the site. Maybe when they actually launch the thing there will be a better way, but I suspect they wouldn't to make it more anonymous.

On the Lit home page there is a reference to a Favourites Portal under News. It advises that you can have a sneak peak. Once you get there you can see which authors have been listed as reader's favourites. It gives the author's name and how many readers have them listed in their favourites section.

It works, and will work to bring the curious to your homepage when they click on your name, but there's no provision for finding out who your 17 are. Sort of like someone leaving you an anonymous love note and you are stuck figuring out who did it.

Most of us here don't have those worries

Good analogy

I like the analogy with the love letter. I guess if they have taken the time to list someone as a favourite it would be nice for the author to know who they are after all we must have something in common. I know a few of those who have listed me as a favourite and them and we have great chats.

I'll have to take that one. Glad you checked me out. I usually send the author of a story I really like and let them know that way what I think, but your right I should also post them as a favourite.

Guilty (on the not listing favorites) - but not anymore! This thread has spurred me to action. As a newbie I have not read much yet, but I just added a couple "faves."

Oh God, is this thread going to stimulate a round of faves-entering (a good thing), followed by a flame from someone claiming we're "fave-trading?"
