How can i find out about Mental COntrol

I have met someone who wants to try Mental BDSM.. not sure what it involves... Could someone let me know where to find out more?

I think we need more info, please. "Mental control" is a bit vague. Are you talking about long distance online bdsm? Are you talking about strict D/s with no sensation play involved? Are you talking about "mental bondage", where you tell her to hold still as you do all sorts of wonderfully distracting things to her body? Are you talking about strict roleplay of some sort, like Master/slave or something? Ask her specifically what she's into, then google it, or check out the library stickies, or come back and ask.

I can't speak for the other person involved, but for me that term would imply that their sexual appitiete far surpasses anything that physical interaction can provide (for now, at least.) It would almost seem that this person's interests lie within the realms of protection, guidence, discipline, learning, and verbal instruction (and I'm not just speaking of the typical "Remove your panties and suck me off" type.)

In more extreme cases, the person's tastes might also steer towards mild or major humiliation and various brands of manipulation. I only assume he/she is submissive because I have never heard of a dominant requesting such a thing.

... But, that is just my take.

It could be a Dom/me or a person who wants to be. If it is this would concern me. I'm of course thinking of the whole psychological manipulation and mind control thing. If this is a sub that wants it done to him/her then it's a bit different. Either way I think that just wanting to try it is a little off.

It's kind of like saying that you would like to try having your feet set on fire and flailed with a whip that is embedded in broken glass. That is if the people involved don't know what they are doing.

I think the more common term for this is "mind control" - you can find stories with that tagline in Lit's story section. There's also the "mc" code on archives like asstr. At least I assume that's what this is referring to.
