How can I delete my stories

Hello, Does anyone know how I can delete my storiesand account from Literotica? I have been writing the administrators but I do not receive any replies. I ask them to delete it for me but it still remains

I do not know about the account itself other than the pm method. In the meantime for stories simply resubmit each story but with the word 'delete' at the end of the title. Also leave a message in the notes field saying you want it deleted.

From there it is like a normal submission and will take 3-4 days to delete.

Where have you been writing the administrators? They don't respond to e-mails (and for some unexplicable reason claim they do by having e-mail buttons around here and there).

The easiest way to pull it all, including your account, is to PM Laurel on the Private Message system (upper left section of this page).

Thanks for the help. I have been writingthe administrators through the "Contact Us" links you find here and there. That may be the buttons you are talking about. I never receive an answer but I am going to try o delete it by the instructions I received by the first reply

You don't have to e-mail or PM anyone. You submit an edit as though you are making a change to your story except you type "DELETE" next to the title. I would also add a note making it clear you want your story deleted. It takes about three days, same as a submission.

I successfully deleted all of my stories from Literotica this way. I don't know how well other methods work.

Depends on how many stories you have which why you would want to go. If you PM Laurel, you can get them all deleted at one go. If you do it yourself, you have to do each one individually yourself.

In addition you can't delete your account yourself. You have to go to Laurel to get that done anyway. So why you're doing that . . .

Yah, PM is the easiest way to go if you're looking to wipe your account and stories. Probably easier for Laurel as well.

Note that no account actually gets deleted ( beyond spammers ). The most I've seen is removing all information added to your profile, avatar, pic, etc., and changing the screen name to "unregistered".

I believe special cases have allowed for the removal of all posts ( changing them to in the example I can think of ) but that doesn't remove quotes by other people. It may be that the person who asked for the deletion took the time to change all those posts themselves, though. Other examples have all the posts intact.

It likely depends upon your reason. I think Laurel is sensitive enough to the fact that erotic writing exposed can turn out really bad, and that online stalkers are an unfortunate, dangerous reality, so if something like that is why you're wanting deleted, the odds of a cleaner wipe are more likely.

Unless upgrades to the forum software have made it easier, I wouldn't count on being able to get rid of quotes without the participation of the quoting posters, though.
