...you know, the guy who:

- is credited with over 1,000 innocent citizen deaths by remote controlled-drone attacks while violating the sovereignty of other countries;

- demands the unconstitutional power to assassinate all who he alone deems enemies - including American citizens - without any due process;

- demands the unconstitutional power to indefinitely detain all who he alone deems enemies - including American citizens - without any due process;

- illegally conspired and facilitated the deadly overthrow of the United Nations-recognized government of Libya, killing thousands of more innocents in the process.

Now today, finally, the news breaks that sometime earlier this year Obama "signed a secret order authorizing U.S. support for rebels seeking to depose Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his government"...

...again, another government which is recognized by the United Nations.

By issuing his "finding", Obama has once again used the Office of the Presidency to declare war on another government without Constitutionally obeying the law which dictates that only Congress can declare war.

Tens of thousands have died already during the unrest in Syria largely underwritten by the USSA...

...and there's still plenty of fascist Democrats who'll vote again this November for their naked despot.

Exclusive: Obama authorizes secret U.S. support for Syrian rebels

(Reuters) - President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing U.S. support for rebels seeking to depose Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his government, U.S. sources familiar with the matter said.

Obama's order, approved earlier this year and known as an intelligence "finding," broadly permits the CIA and other U.S. agencies to provide support that could help the rebels oust Assad.

Claim: U.S. forces on Syrian border. Assad ‘may put military on highest alert’

TEL AVIV — Russian intelligence has information about U.S. troops inside Turkey near the country’s border with Syria, a senior Syrian official told KleinOnline today.

The official said the Russians said they observed American forces taking part in Turkish military measures to secure the Syria-Turkey borders.

The official said the information about a U.S. military presence in Turkey has led to a debate within the Syrian leadership about whether to move the Syrian military to its highest alert level. Currently, the Syrian army is on its second highest alert.

While the presence of U.S. forces inside Turkey could not be immediately verified this is not the first time the American military has been accused of aiding the insurgency targeting Bashar Assad’s regime.

In February, KleinOnline was first to report the U.S., Turkey and Jordan were running a training base for the Syrian rebels in the Jordanian town of Safawi in the country’s northern desert region, according to several knowledgeable Egyptian and Arab security officials.

Iranian Ayatollah: “War Within Weeks”

Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told top Iranian military chiefs to expect “war within weeks,” at a recent war council meeting, according to Israeli news outlet DebkaFile.

“While retaliation had been exhaustively drilled in regular military exercises in the past year, Khamenei ordered the biggest fortification project in Iran’s history to save its nuclear program from even the mightiest of America’s super-weapons. Rocks are being gathered from afar, piled on key nuclear installations, covered with many tons of poured concrete and finally plated with steel,” states the report.

Despite more substantive reports speculating that any decision to attack Iran on behalf of Israel had been delayed until spring 2013, a parallel narrative that a military strike could take place in September or October has been doing the rounds more recently.

Whether the DebkaFile report is accurate or not, Iran has finalized preparations for conflict with its recent announcement that plans for closing the Strait of Hormuz, a key choke point through which 33% of the world’s oil shipments pass every day, are now complete.
