How about Florida?

They rolled thru here around 2 am and woke me up.
No damage that I can see outside tho for all the wind & rain.
They hit about that time here too. Lasted until around 8 am. I didn't see any damage but all the roads are flooded out. I'm so glad they improved the storm drainage system

95 southbound around Hollywood we have a tracker trailer overturned. Stopped traffic in both directions.

I was surprised we didn't have any lightning strikes.
I saw lots of flashes but no hits

We miss Florida. Being mentally disturbed we left NW Florida near the Suwannee River and Cedar Key area to move back to Illinois.
We miss Florida and all the wild things to do there. Strip clubs, glory holes, nude beaches, bikers and babes!

So how about Florida?

Except there are hurricane, flood, tornado and high wind warnings out there.

very wet here in ST PETE. Ramps on and off 275 flooded and closed near me.

Northeast Tampa here....just started raining heavily, and wind starting to pick up.....I kinda like it wet, and wild....;)

Everyone but Pasco County canceled school tomorrow. Seriously dumb decision. I canceled my PT appointment since I have no business out in that driving up to Clearwater from down at the beaches.

The NOAA plane is back with this new info from the NHC.... NHC has upgraded Tropical Depression Nine to Tropical Storm Hermine (pronounced "her MEEN"), the 8th named storm of the 2016 Atlantic hurricane season

Well Hawaii is apparently safe... Even with 2 storms headed at them...
Jim Cantore just showed up at Cedar Key in the pan handle.

Pasco County cancelled school too. Ended up with 3 inches (of rain!!) yesterday. Just starting to get breezy right now...no rain yet today.
Better buckle up there, Starry.....could be a rough ride.....good luck.

I just got back from the local coffee shop. I went down to hang out for a couple hours to check in some place safe with neighbors & be able to get out of the house for a while too. The rain just started sputtering in here around 11 am. Man when I walked out of the house to go down there the smell of sewage was really bad. Word is that St Pete is gonna have to spill out more raw sewage again with the rains this afternoon.

At least Jim Cantore from the Weather channel is not down here but up in Cedar Key. That makes me feel safer.

No rain yet today here in Tampa. No flooding where I am. I think folks west of me are getting it a lot worse.
