How about Florida?

I'd be up for a meetup at some point. I'll subscribe to this thread and see where it goes.

Is this going to be a daytime thing or are we shooting for an evening meeting?

I vote for daytime so everyone who makes a long-ish drive can get home without incident.

I prefer a meeting in Tampa...I'm not opposed to driving and if I have to drive, prefer Orlando as the next spot...

Not sure when the Litogether will happen, but I'll say that 11 Feb is outta the question...I'm co-hosting a party that night ;)

I've decided against picking a date. I don't want the hassle of everyone being annoyed that I picked a date when they couldn't go, a town that was too far for them, and a restaurant that they didn't like.

I'm out. Sorry. I'm just not in the event planning business.

Enjoy.

You suck  okay not really but seriously things happen and this is Lit not burger king your way right away. I say you totally SHOULD pick a date, 3 restaurants (popular choice wins) and then regarding location, well I would think it should go "majority rules" I mean if you've got 10 people in one city who CAN make it, but only 2 in another city that's a 100 miles away it makes more sense to pick the area w/ the crowd. I get being considerate, but then I also get being logical.

What if we planned a few meetings? Then if someone couldn't come to one, they had other days to choose from.

That's a great idea as well :)

I'm up for wherever/whatever.

Personally, being nearer the Tampa Bay area, I would vote for that.

To quote an earlier member, Ybor City is definitely right there and, given that we ARE Literoticans, we have high libidos to begin with and would prefer a more...informal setting than, say, a restaurant. Plus, Ybor has a few nice open restaurants that are informal, laid back, etc.

Pretty much, it's just time to pick a date. I'd vote for the 30th/31st, leaning more toward the 31st. It's a Saturday, end of the month so it's near payday, those that have a little further to go would have time to get there, and those that want to spend a little time in the area overnight for...oh, no reason ( ;) ) can have sunday to get back to their homes, etc.

As for meeting place, since we're all looking to save cash, there's that inexpensive Car Park right near that Central Ybor district. We could either meet there, or within that central vicinity. From there, we'd be able to take our pick of the various clubs, bars, and eating establishments as we please.

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Desire to "appreciate" my organizational skills? ;)

I would attend a meet & greet. I would also suggest that you shouldn't expect that any female Lit member you may meet would be readily willing to have a "wham bam thank you ma'am" experience ;)

Personally I'll just say once people figure out where the hell they wanna meet, day and time feel free to drop in on my thread and let me know b/c I'm tired of all the talk but no action (no pun intended)
