I know that it's somewhat less than orthodox, but I think that this thread has limitless possibilites. You could choose one of your favorite homicidal motorists, or develop your own, with his/her own reasons for entering into the contest.

Anyone interested, just post it here. I'd really like to see this one pan out.

Sounds like a good idea. I ill read the thread, I wont be a part of it though. I don't know much about cars or th Twisted Metal story. It has been to long since I last played it.

The Twisted Metal series, for all those who don't know, is about a tournament hosted by a man named Calypso. The participators in this tounament saddle up in various vehicles outfitted with tons of wepanory, ranging from ice cream trucks that fire napalm cones to hearses that shoot out dead souls to formula ones that cause a hurricane of wind to surround them, and proceed to blow the hell out of each other. The winner (that is, the last one alive) is rewarded with anything; anything they wish, whatever they desire.

The most interesting thing about the Twisted Metal Tournament is invariably the participants. Their motivations and what they plan to do with their wish can be very involved.

Personal weapon: Sudden burst of energy surrounding himself

Vehicle: Monster Truck
Driver: Dave & Mike
Personal weapon: Runs over the other cars

These are just a few of many, and as I said before original characters are quite welcome
